Update made the app unusable

This WAS a good app, especially for the Apple Watch. The update reset the watch component to day 1, but not the phone app, so I cant even fix it. And achievements have also been reset. I tried deleting the app, and reinstalling it, entering my original quit date. But I just got an achievement for being one day quit, so its still messed up. I use the app a lot on my watch, so for now at least, Ill have to find another one.
